Disc harms in small dogs are ordinary. The back bone is made up of small segments called back. The middle to decrease back is the area most affected by herniated discs. The vet has to examine the dog in peacefulness to tell if they have a herniated disc and everywhere it is. A herniated disc will show as spinal material approaching hostile to the spinal cord on an x-ray. A dog, or self, with a herniated disc will need surgery to take out the affected material that is approaching out. I know that cortisone is most evenly used with people who have a herniated disc. I’m not sure in this area animals.

I have two Corgi’s and so far nothing. I keep the consequence off my dogs and am austere not to let them jump off of equipment. But any age really. By chance may maybe the vet or a name dropped her even as being paid flat? Or may maybe she of been appearance out of life place to take a nap from surgery and banged herself on the pen door/wall? These are questions I would be asking my vet. Has he done X-rays yet? I mean this is a touch that needs to be looked into very soon. Also Corgi’s can have back issues due to their long body. But, I first and chief would be questioning the personnel of the clinic I went to. NOT blaming anyone here..just thought you need to question..and reflect back to what your dog has done the last few being to get this way. I wish you the best of luck with your Corgi. They are fantastic dogs. Also get a further opinion please. But question questions and alot of them..
